Shorter days and cooler night means Renyer’s Pumpkin Farm is nearly ready for opening day (Saturday, September 29, 2012). September is our busiest month on the farm. We are mowing, trimming, setting up displays, Brenda’s craft store, smoking pork and stocking the Scarecrow Café and finally wiping out spider webs and dusting. Clay has been able to break away from his fun college life to help at least one day a week and will be around during October weekends with wagon rides, sling shot or anywhere he is needed. This last weekend we picked from the pumpkin patch two wagons full of the early ripping pumpkins.

We have modified an old John Deere combine and turned it into a play ground and tube slibe for the 2012 season.  Its sure to be another hit a Renyer's Pumpkin Patch.

We've finally named the new building – it's official Renyer's Coach House (The gathering place) we will now be able to host weddings, family reunions, corporate events and so much more.
